Many modern vehicles now feature Adaptive Front-lighting Systems (AFS), a mature and practical technology that enhances visibility by automatically adjusting headlight direction and range based on steering angle and vehicle speed. During turns, the headlights pivot 8°–15° to eliminate dark spots, while highway driving triggers broader, longer-range illumination for improved safety. By 2023, over half of high-end models in Europe and North America were equipped with AFS.
Vahid offers two AFS-based headlight models:
The M1 is an entry-level solution for family cars. It includes a motorized adjustment system and basic environmental sensors, with two modes—urban and rural. Cornering lights activate instantly when turning, making it ideal for daily commuting and errands. It delivers reliable performance at an affordable price.
The M2 targets mid-to-high-end vehicles with enhanced intelligence. In addition to standard features, it adds dedicated modes for high-speed driving and adverse weather. It automatically adjusts beam height and brightness in rain or low visibility to avoid glare for oncoming drivers. Integrated with navigation, it anticipates upcoming curves and pre-adjusts lighting. Fast response and advanced coordination make full use of AFS capabilities, even in complex conditions.
